Bringing decades of Advanced Water Treatment experience & expertise to Aquaculture

We understand your needs and daily challenges. Our tailored solution for aquaculture are fully customizable and can help you improve your water quality significantly. Tell us about your ideas, about your challenges and if it has anything to do with water, we will find a solution for you.

We provide the highest biosecurity

on the intake water

Quality of the intake water needs to be superior and only through a well-designed water treatment system one can meet the demands and guidelines set by the authorities. We have the required expertise, equipments and deep insights of the industry to provide water treatment solutions to provide water of superior quality with highest degree of biosecurity.

HIGHEST BIO SECURITY FOR AQUACULTURE

Inlet Water Treatment

Optimal and stable water quality is one of the most important factor to successful aquaculture. Major advantage of land based over the sea-based farming is the ability to control environmental parameters and optimize water quality so fish can be stocked at higher density and with increased growth rate.

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a reliable and market-proven method to stop bacteria and viruses from entering your farms. It provides a high degree of bio security which is required for a smooth operation. Our Intake Water Treatment plant consisting of UF and UV system provides a robust double hygienic barrier with high level of bio security for both intake and discharge water.

1.

BERNOULLI / SCREEN FILTRATION

The first step of the filtration process involves suspended particle removal using mechanical filtration. The degree of filtration depends upon the downstream process requirements. For higher reliability, two stage mechanical filtration is recommended consisting of Screen or Disc Filtration of 100 – 40 micron with automatic disc / bernoulli filter and followed by advanced filtration with Nano i Plus Technology to achieve filtration down to 0.5 micron

2.

NANO i PLUS FILTRATION

Nano i Plus filters are based on advanced nano enhanced filtration technology. Utilizing simplified processes Nano i Plus filters efficiently filter contaminants, particles and pathogens away from the influent stream down to 0.5 micron. Nano i Plus filters when installed upstream of ultrafiltration process reduces the chances of UF membrane fouling and clogging and backwash frequencies, eventually leading to significant savings on operating expenditures and downtime and maintenance

3.

ULTRAFILTRATION UF

The next step of the filtration process includes Ultra Filtration system. This technology uses an ultrafiltration membrane barrier to exclude particles 0.02 micron, including bacteria, viruses, and colloids, meeting increasingly stringent water-quality standards around the world, and providing a stable, reliable, and consistent water quality with high level of bio security which is needed for a smooth operation of an aquaculture farm. Our UF membranes are lab tested for 6-log removal of virus and other pathogens

4.

UV DISINFECTION

The final step of the filtration process includes UV disinfection. Although the vast majority of the bacteria and virus and other harmful pathogens are already removed by UF membranes, with NVI approved UV doses, the UF permeate water will reach the desired biosecurity easily. In our intake & discharge water treatment designs, UV filters acts as a second hygienic barrier against harmful pathogens

HIGHEST BIO SECURITY FOR THE AQUATIC LIFE

Discharge Water Treatment

Just as intake water treatment, discharge water treatment is placed for prevention of disease outbreak and to minimize the risk of contamination by harmful pathogens from the aquaculture farm. A well-designed discharge water treatment consists of screen filtration, ultrafiltration as first hygienic barrier and High Dose UV as second hygienic barrier. Employing adequate filtration steps prevents disease outbreaks and significantly reduces the risk of contamination.
